Stay ahead with industry news, expert tips, and innovative strategies to enhance your financial operations.
You've built workflows that run your financial operations automatically. But as your business evolves, requirements change. New data sources get added, matching rules need refinement, or edge cases emerge that need handling.
Now, when you need to adjust logic, work out an edge case, or understand why a workflow is failing, you can troubleshoot and fix workflow errors using natural language with the help of our new AI assistant. You can ask questions, describe problems, and get solutions without leaving your workflow or relying on the engineering team.
Why this matters
Your workflows handle complex financial operations across multiple data sources. When you spot something unexpected, you need to understand it quickly and adjust if needed.
The AI assistant handles two new scenarios that previously required support or technical knowledge:
- Understanding workflow behavior. When you need to know how a workflow or a calculation runs, you can ask questions and the assistant will explain it in simple language.
- Modifying workflows. As your processes change, you can make small logic changes and workflow refinements happen instantly. Describe what you need changed, and the assistant updates your workflow configuration.
How it works
The assistant understands your Reiterate workflows and data. You can ask it questions the same way you’d ask a colleague:
- “Why didn’t my bank reconciliation workflow run this morning?”
- AI assistant: “A column name in the bank export file had a naming mismatch. The “From amount” title should be replaced with “FromAmount”. Do you want me to fix the naming?”
- “We have decided to split our App Store revenue accounts in the accounting software. From now on, the 6107 - App Store Revenue should be split into two: 6115 – App Store Subscriptions and 6125 – App Store One-off Purchases.”
- AI Assitant: “I need some additional instructions to do this. How are the subscriptions and one-off purchases differentiated in the files? Based on the source file, it looks like subscriptions have the suffix SUB and one-off purchases have the suffix ONE in column “Product ID”. Do you want me to apply the same logic in this SQL node?”
The assistant is able to produce reliable results every time because it runs deterministically, based on how you work. It will offer explanations and solutions specific to your setup and only makes changes once you have confirmed them.
What this means for you
Faster problem resolution. You can understand and fix issues in minutes, without navigating through workflow configurations or involving additional help.
More workflow autonomy. Make adjustments as soon as you need them. Test new logic, refine matching rules, and iterate on your processes in real-time.
